No. Synbiotic 2000 is intended for research purposes and is not available for direct sale to consumers. Consumers are instead referred to products from SuperSynbiotics based on the same formulation. www.supersynbiotics.se
After many years of research and use in studies, the composition was made available to consumers through SuperSynbiotics. The consumer products are based on the same fundamental concept but are adapted for daily use in different formats and dosage levels. The research preparation Synbiotic 2000 is more highly dosed and designed to be taken during a limited study period. Synbiotic 2000 is not sold to the general public but is used solely as a research preparation.
The work began when researchers, led by Professor Stig Bengmark, studied a large number of lactic acid bacteria to identify a combination that worked well together. These were then combined with selected dietary fibers. The result was the patented composition Synbiotic 2000.
